Homework assignment given? Find two blogs. Pretty wide and general guidelines, but okay. The two blogs that I happened to come upon were more personal and more private than what others brought to the table in class. The first one I was read was written by a high school girl living in San Francisco, California. She is really interested in photography and her blog bascially just tells us about what she did that day and then she has pictures to show us. I really like the picture of when she went to the farmer's market with her mom. I love pictures with a variety of colors and shapes and she captured this perfectly. All her posts, I'd have to say, are somewhat leaning towards the childish side. And thats alright, she is a young girl in high school, a junior I believe, so I think thats why I have a really hard time liking the written posts other then the pictures that go with them.
The other blog that I happened across was the blog of Craig Hurst, a professional photographer. His blog is more professional and more grown up so to say. His blog also centers around pictures. They both talk about what they have done for the day and use pictures to help show their actions. Craig's is much more centered on one thing, for example a trip he went on with his friends to Destin. There's also pictures of his cousin Luke's first birthday. He's leans more away from general day to day activities like Lee's and bases more on the few important things that happened during that time. I have to say, all in all, I like looking at pictures.
